Thanks to your voices—and the tireless advocacy of Englewood One Community—we’ve helped prevent unchecked overdevelopment. The City’s revised 2025 Housing Plan now protects more of our neighborhoods from dense apartment construction.
But make no mistake: we’re not done yet.
The Fight Isn’t Over
Key parts of the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Wards remain rezoned for high- density apartment buildings. And the zoning to replace our homes with four + or five+ story massive apartment buildings will devastate our neighborhoods and urbanize our City, forever.
We can stop it. But only if we stay united.
Our Officials Work for Us—Let’s Remind Them
City officials were elected to serve our interests—not personal ones. And when we speak with one voice, they listen.
It’s time to demand responsible leadership and fiscal transparency. So far, the city has spent over $400,000 in lawsuits aimed at silencing you, the residents. That’s your tax dollars being used against you!
What’s Next? Show Up. Speak Out. Demand Change.
